Tesco Extra

Absolutely appalling service from Tesco Bangor. I booked a grocery delivery three weeks in advance for our family holiday, with a delivery slot between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. At 1:43pm I noticed a missed call from the driver, made at approximately 1:30 pm – before my delivery window had even started. I immediately called back multiple times and left a voicemail explaining that I was at the property waiting for the delivery. Despite repeated attempts to contact the driver, my calls were ignored and my voicemail was never returned. The driver never arrived, and Tesco simply cancelled my order, claiming they couldn’t find the address. If that was the case, why was the delivery abandoned before my allocated time slot had even begun? Why were none of my calls answered? This order was for 13 family members arriving after long journeys from as far away as Kent with young children for our holiday in Wales. Because Tesco failed to deliver, we were left without food and had to make emergency alternative arrangements at the start of our holiday. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from Tesco. I have made a formal complaint and expect Tesco to carry out a full investigation into what happened and explain why the delivery was cancelled before the booked delivery window had even started.

The shop is great, however, what has happened to the cafe. Nothing on the menu is available. They said last time they had ran out of lots of stuff although they sell it in the store downstairs. This time it was even more disappointing, basically nothing much available. We left and went elsewhere.

Feedback on today's trial for a Pokémon TCG release. Much much more room for improvement. The Entertainer/Tesco had: • Low stock • Lack of confirmation on timings • Very Very Poor allocation of stock I appreciate this was trial 1 and it should get better moving forward but 2 large Boxes of each SKU (so 6 per person) when there were 25-30+ people who had queued for up to an hour for them was a very poor choice to allocate "fairly" The first 3 or 4 people in the queue took all the main boxes it appeared and everyone else was left with the minimum boosters. It should have been 1 Large Box per customer MAX (irrelevant of SKU), a single tripple blister and up to 5 booster packs like other stores do it. That way everyone could have got a chance to get the product. Please take this on board for future in regards to limits. There were alot of disappointed customers leaving that store whilst watching guys who had brought their spouses or household with them to get extra stock to leave with multiples of boxes Positives - Queue location was good, out of the way and quite civilized. Security guard seemed a bit overkill but understandable. Of course as the system improves I'd be happy to amend the star rating here. If nothing changes I can't see me queueing here again for little return and would rather support other stores such as Smyths who have a much fairer allocation system and better stock levels.

Went in on Friday 26 June. A lot of chillers down , food from chillers shoved anywhere unpriced. A lot of fruit and veg bare and what was left ,I wouldn't feed to a pig .As a measure I bought a bag of carrots and they had pretty much turned black in 2 days. Staff ignorant and unconcerned when pointing out the issues in store. I only went into the store en route to a holiday and because I had a Tesco gift voucher,but I won't be repeating the exercise again .in contrast the Lidl on Anglesey at llangefni was a lovely store ,well stocked ,fresh healthy fruit and veg and friendly helpful staff.

Well stocked and had everything we needed. First time here. All the staff were doing some choir practice for something near the cafe, sounded great! Nice touch to our Easter morning. I think everyone should calm down in the reviews though. All the 1* raters are a bit pathetic. Not really any real reason to slate a business. Someone complaining because they didn't get served and someone else because there was an aisle full of candles 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Bunch of nutters, thanks for the nighttime read 😊
