Have been going here the whole year and had no problems until I tried to buy some wine yesterday with my friend (I'm 25 and we're both students). We were refused service as my friend didn't have ID on her which is understandable. The second time I went in alone to buy the wine a worker there (blonde hair and glasses) ran up to the till to inform me she's refusing service that day and I felt very much like I was being treated like a wine criminal running an underground underage drinking operation. She informed me she believed it was a by proxy sale. I find this level of customer service a bit insulting considering my previous experience as a supervisor taught me to never accuse customers of criminal activity. I asked the manager about the policy and thought it was a bit absurd that a 25 year old on her own couldn't purchase alcohol because I was in the store earlier with my friend. Me and my friend came back with her ID so I could purchase the wine and the manager continued to berate me on the shop floor and have a go at me because "by rights he should refuse me the service since I got refused once that day". I've never seen anything handled so poorly. I wished him to have a good day and hoped that what was bothering him got better. If you try to buy wine here staff may become hostile! Update Shocked to say that the lady with the blonde hair is fond of bringing up the topic when I do my shopping there. It's appalling to see the staff harass customers over a misunderstanding and poor customer service. Being treated like a criminal for not breaking the law and having autism because I asked clarifying questions about their policies. Hope this gives you more to chat about babe, I highly recommend a hobby though 💕

Just stopped by in my coach to buy a load of water and some food, and had a very rude click and collect woman have a go at me for parking there, was not obstructing anything, not taking up car parking spaces as parked along a wall. She also rang my boss to complain, safe to say i won't be spending my money in there anymore

Costa coffee machine should be switched on when store opens at 7am not at 8am! Also cafe is shocking, it used to be good but has gone down a lot, the food quality has become poor and the staff attitude is disgraceful. Every coffe mug that is meant to be clean were all dirty and stained, mentioned this to lady on till and she was not slightly bothered and just nodded her head. We used to use this place regularly but starting to dislike the store now as standards seem to be falling.

This place is is more like a giant corner shop than a supermarket and feels incredibly eerie since the latest 'refit' It's cold and sterile, and gives you that uneasy feeling that you can't quite figure out, backrooms vibe. It's like you know you're not supposed to be there.

Overall, the Morrisons Bangor is a good store. It’s usually well stocked, clean, and the staff are generally helpful, making it a reliable place to shop. However, the restaurant has been a real letdown. We’ve had disappointing experiences there three times in the past six months, which is frustrating given how good the rest of the store is. It’s a shame, as it brings down what is otherwise a positive experience.
