Extremely disappointing experience – I cannot recommend When I first came into contact with Varcity Living, I was genuinely impressed by Calum. I found him helpful, personable and genuine, and based on that initial experience I felt confident allowing the company to manage my property. Unfortunately, since then, my experience has been one of almost constant frustration and disappointment. I have found the communication and administration extremely poor. I have often felt that I have not been kept fully informed, and at times it has seemed as though contractors are more important to them, being called out to deal with issues without the matter first being properly inspected or discussed with me. This has left me questioning whether work and costs are genuinely necessary. I am currently trying to extricate myself from their management agreement, and I have been extremely frustrated by the process. Despite the tenants not even having moved into the property, I am being asked to pay management fees for another year. I find this particularly difficult to understand and have not felt that my concerns have been listened to. The attitude of some of the administrative staff has also been disappointing. I am the client and the person paying for their service, yet on several occasions I have felt as though this has been completely forgotten. Overall, the contrast between my initial impression of the company and my experience since has been enormous. What started with confidence and trust has ended in considerable frustration. Sadly, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Varcity Living. My advice to anyone considering using them to manage their property would be to think very carefully and make sure you fully understand the management agreement and potential costs before committing.

Been faultless throughout the year. Very contactable and quick to respond to any issues. Even replaced my mattress within 3 days! Special mention to Ben Barlow who’s been top class throughout the whole year. Cheers

I was quite worried about securing accommodation in Bangor before arriving, especially since I was still outside the UK. After going through countless ads with no success, I came across a property listed by Varcity and got in touch with Imy. The entire experience was smooth and transparent. They were always available to answer my questions and ease my concerns, and they even had the keys ready for me the moment I arrived at bangor. It was a huge relief, and I’m really grateful for their support.

Avoid at all costs. They don’t notify for viewings, and if they do they change it last minute without letting you know, so you sit waiting all day and no one turns up. No regard for the people living in the properties. Also incredibly slow with maintenance reports. So fed up with this company, it’s an absolute mess
