I used Vergo, with fantastic support from Shaun and Glen - totally professional, made great effort to make a speedy visit as I was afraid I might have picked up a bedbugs on my travels. This has genuinely been the worst experience I have ever had with a company and I don’t say that lightly. While the technicians themselves were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, the customer service and administrative side of the business have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. We waited well over a month for our final visit, and during that time we were repeatedly told that “someone will be coming on [specific date],” only for no one to show up, not once, but multiple times. Each time we called to follow up, we were informed that the appointment had been “rescheduled,” yet no one ever contacted us to let us know. This cycle of misinformation and lack of communication went on for over a month, leaving us completely frustrated and without any clear answers. I made several requests to speak directly with a manager in hopes of resolving the issue, but every time I was assured that “someone will call you back.” Not once did that actually happen. It’s extremely disappointing to be promised follow-up after follow-up and never receive a single call. This wasn’t just a one-time issue, we had almost the exact same problem during our very first appointment with this company. It’s become clear that this isn’t an isolated case of bad luck, but a pattern of poor communication and disorganisation within their customer service department. To make matters worse, at one point during all this back and forth, I could actually hear staff members in the background laughing about my situation while I was on the phone expressing frustration and simply asking for an update. Although an apology was later offered, it was completely inappropriate and incredibly unprofessional. It made me feel disrespected as a customer and confirmed how poorly communication and professionalism are handled within their office. It’s such a shame, because the technicians on-site were genuinely great and did their job well. Unfortunately, their efforts are completely overshadowed by the unprofessionalism and lack of accountability on the administrative side. I’ve never encountered a company that made it this difficult just to get a straight answer or a reliable appointment. If you’re considering using this company, be prepared for constant rescheduling, unanswered calls, and zero follow-up from management. The field workers deserve praise, but the office staff and customer service system desperately need a complete overhaul.

Just took whole day off work only to be called at 3.30 pm that technician can't attend. This company took over Busters Group locally who provided much better service. Can't even re-book when you ring the main number, utterly ridiculous set up. Recommend using alternative company as they too big to care.

Our issue was contracted to Vergo via Halifax/AXA. We had an all day appointment (0800-1700) booked. The technician did not arrive and neither did the booking team or the technician inform us of this. Wasted a day waiting. This has happened three times with this company. They have a habit of unreliability, poor time keeping and communication. I will specifically request none of my home emergency work to be allocated to this company in the future!

We initially used Pestbuster to look after our pest control but we have since taken on the additional service of sanitary disposal as Pestbuster proved to be a much more regular service at a more cost effective rate than our previous supplier. Having built up a great rapport with sales manager, Debbie, if ever we have an issue, I know that it will be dealt with quickly. We are now currently having our business centre cladding cleaned...a huge job, 6 days so far, cherry picker, jet wash ...the works all whilst 70 business carry out their day to day business. The operatives have been nothing but efficient and professional with no detrimental effect on my clients. Cannot recommend this company more highly. Great job!!.
