I recently completed my Door Supervisor course at Zems Academy in Birmingham and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. From the first day, everything was organised and professional, but the biggest reason I’d recommend this academy is the trainer, Mohammed Jalil. Mohammed is an excellent teacher. He explains everything clearly and makes sure everyone understands before moving on. Even when something was difficult or confusing, he was patient and took the time to explain it properly. He’s very knowledgeable about the security industry and gives real-life examples that make the training much easier to understand. What really stood out to me was how professional, respectful and friendly Mohammed was throughout the whole course. He creates a comfortable atmosphere where you can ask questions without feeling embarrassed or pressured. You can tell he genuinely wants his students to succeed, rather than just getting through the course. If you’re thinking about getting your Door Supervisor licence or starting a career in security, I would definitely recommend Zems Academy. The quality of teaching was excellent and Mohammed Jalil is a big reason why. Definitely one of the best trainers I’ve had.
