Maintenance Hive

Came across these people completely by accident when our (very) old boiler went phutt their inspection team got it going again, but it had to go. They gave us two easily comprehensible alternative estimates, and once we'd decided on a replacement they executed the works promptly, and very well; their team on the ground were unbelievably hard working , tidy and considerate. Six months later we discovered a completely unrelated, and frankly terrifying electrical fault, which baffled our usual electrician completely, but MHL identified it, isolated it and delivered a long overdue re-wire on time and on budget, and it looks as if they made good to a higher standard than the quote allowed for. No problems in communication at all, can't fault the work ethic, and a real effort made to ensure that we understood the work.. The support since with a couple of teething problems has been prompt and lucid too. Thoroughly recommend.

Really pleased with my EPC advisory report. Ellena was really helpfully throughout and was happy to answer all of my questions. As this is my first home and I’m doing some work on it, the guidance was extremely helpful. Dimitri also moved my boiler from the main bedroom into the loft and did a fantastic job. He left everything clean and tidy and was great at giving some advice. Very happy with the service from Maintenance Hive so far. Would definitely recommend!

I had an emergency situation where water leaked and blew out my sockets on a bank holiday. Hive responded immediately, assessed the situation and made my home safe. It turned out that the home I had just purchased had not been EICR tested in over 10 years. My circuit board was old and was shocking me and on internal inspection it looked like snakes on a plane. A new board was fitted and labelled and adjusted so that the chance of overloading was non existent. I also had new external sockets fitted for the garden - why not :) Also new smoke detectors 🤩 These guys are absolutely amazing and professional.
