Edinburgh Lock Centre

Lionel is a wonderful locksmith and fixed our front door lock a couple of years ago and then last night my back door broke and we couldn’t open it ( we have 2 dogs so no access to the garden is tricky!) it’s Saturday and I texted Lionel and he managed to fit me in between jobs and was here within an hour of my original text. He fixed the back door lock and is a real life saver. Thank you again Lionel, amazing service.

Got new keys cut at the shop for my front door and they didn’t appear to work. Took the lock to the shop with new keys. Discovered the lock was faulty. Lionel went out of his way to help me. He replaced the lock and supplied extra copies of the keys within a couple of hours. Could not have asked for a better service. Thanks Lionel and Jim, first class service 👍

Lionel arrived within 10mins, out of hours, to help me get into my flat when I had the wrong key. Rather than replace the lock (which would have cost more) he drove me 30min out of town and sat and waited until our decorators met us to give me my key. Then drove me back. Super kind - he went out of his way to help. Highly recommended!

On a Sunday call out Lionel got me back in my flat within 15 minutes of calling! He was very friendly and it was a fair price for a Sunday too. Definitely recommend!

My bike lock had jammed in the Grassmarket and I couldn't get it unlocked. Phoned Lionel on Sunday morning to see if he come and free it. He was there within a half hour. 10 mins with Angle grinder and bike was freed. Strangely, noone asked what we were doing....
