Dna Property Management

I am a Director of the Management Company for Electricity House in central Bristol. We appointed DNA for Property Management following years of poor service from another company. The service provided by DNA is first class. They are responsive, efficient, courteous and helpful. They have an excellent system for staying in touch with owners. The accounting is well managed. We have had several large maintenance issues in the building and DNA have dealt with this well, offering advice on the best way forward. I rate this company very highly.

When I first moved to my current property, the building management seemed "fine". They were generally responsive, and seemed to carry out their duties, alas without much transparency. After the company was bought out, service deteriorated significantly, and our directors decided to engage the team at Dna. It was a breath of fresh air I didn't know we needed. Lewis, who manages our building, is responsive, helpful, and provides regular, much-appreciated, updates on the building's management and ongoing tasks. I had become accustomed to our previous management's typical response of "this falls outside of our standard operating procedure, we won't help" (a seemingly commonplace attitude amongst most management companies). Instead, Lewis responds to requests and concerns with a can-do attitude, going above and beyond in co-operating to find solutions and make improvements. As a recent example, we need some fairly significant repairs carried out in our parking garage. While dealing with the issue promptly and thoroughly, Lewis discovered that the freehold owner may actually be liable for the costs for the expensive repair, potentially saving the residents a large amount of money. Regardless of whether this is the case, it demonstrates his attention to detail and dedication to finding the best outcomes for the residents. It's safe to say, I now feel confident that the management of our building is in good hands, and this is reflected in how recent and on-going issues have, and are, being dealt with in a prompt and thorough manner. While I haven't dealt with anyone else on the Dna team, I don't doubt the accuracy of the other reviews here. It seems like Dna is a rare breed in the world of management companies; dedicated to working with residents and providing a high level of care and compassion.

DNA manage the building on our behalf, and they do an incredible job. They always respond quickly and professionally, we have built a great working relationship and they help us out whenever we need it. Everything has been communicated efficiently from the very beginning, we can't recommend them enough.

DNA Properties have been extremely professional and easy to work with. They answered all of our questions quickly and effectively, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Excellent communication and great service throughout. Highly recommended.

As a Director of our building and gone through quite a few years of having a very poor Management Company, we changed to DNA from April this year, (2025),the first thing that improved was communication, Max Rawlins our new manager is very quick and communitive in sorting out any issues, he keeps us informed about the works and appointments on site & above all always asks us our thoughts & gives us options or workarounds so issues are promptly sorted , both John & Kelly also very helpful, as are all the staff at Dna. They get quotes from independent trades, that we as Directors can check out there work & competitiveness. So far we have had a first class service from Dna and the independent contractors & we hope to continue our good relationship with them. They listen to our concerns, and we have had positive feedback from our fellow leaseholders who have dealt with Max over issues, we are kept up to date over our accounts & any anomalies ( which are scarce) are dealt with promptly. The progress in the last 6 months in our building only goes to show that there are good Management Companies out there, and Dna is one of these. The ongoing work on the Building has been checked on site from Dna, & the contractors who also make us aware of any issues so we are very happy with the outcome of these ongoing works, its all about communication & honesty, it goes a long way. I speak on behalf my fellow Directors & quite a few leaseholders that we would highly recommend DNA as a professional family run Management Company, well done.
