Mark, the technician, who came was thorough, polite, tidy and instilled confidence in the work he was there to carry out and after care. Matt, Matty and Stuart have spent 8 days working hard to resolve damp and timber issues in several rooms. From the moment they arrived they were courteous and friendly, ensuring all floors and carpets were protected whilst they worked. The workmanship has been excellent throughout and each person was clearly specialised in their own area of expertise. They were able to support and make recommendations when additional issues were identified. I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others. Thank you for a job well done!

I used Timberwise to replace the cavity wall ties in my new home, following on from a pre-purchase survey I requested them to undertake on the property before I went ahead and purchased it. The survey report itself was quite comprehensive and included photos that I found helpful, and confirmed what my own surveyor had found during his inspection. Gennerally speaking, I found the staff at Timberwise helpful. The father and son team who carried out the work were punctual, reliable and friendly. They did a great job despite encountering some difficulties drilling into the walls – it seems my bricks are at the very hard end of the scale – and finished the work within the allocated time. The only negative I have is that it wasn’t made clear how the rendered wall would appear after the wall ties had been replaced. While there is a sentence in the description of work which says that the “repairs are likely to be visible”, this is a completely inadequate statement because they are glaringly obvious. Bearing in mind that the work was undertaken 6 months after the survey was done, and took place before I completed on the house, I should have been told that I would need to repaint the rendered wall when I booked in the job after becoming the new owner. All in all, I am satisfied with the work that was done. If Timberwise take steps to improve communication with their customers and ensure they know what to expect before the work starts, then I would happily give them 5 stars instead of 4.

Matt & Matty have just finished installing new wall ties at our property. They were punctual, did the job in super quick time and tidied up after themselves. Great job! Tim, the surveyor has also been brilliant. He was knowledgeable, explained everything to me, answered my many questions and even dropped off some floor covering to protect my porcelain patio when I was worrying about it. 😁 Highly recommend all at Timberwise.
