Strongly advised to avoid this company. Residents at Turing Court, UB13EX can provide first-hand accounts of the ongoing issues experienced at the development. There are NHBC reports and two independent building surveyor reports available, which document multiple defects and outstanding works. Despite this, after more than three years, a solicitor has had to be instructed to compel the company to address unresolved issues. The works appear to have been carried out by unqualified personnel, with low-cost subcontractors engaged instead of appropriately qualified professionals. As an example, residents may wish to review feedback relating to Autumn Mechanical Services Ltd, the contractor responsible for installing the heating boilers at the building. If you value your investment and peace of mind, extreme caution is advised before engaging this company. I am happy to respond to any genuine questions regarding our experience.

I am writing this feedback to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding the quality of work performed by Borras Ltd on the recently purchased one-bedroom flat through the share ownership scheme. The property has been left in an uninhabitable condition due to numerous serious defects and issues, which I detail below: 1. Hidden Defects: Upon moving in, we discovered significant problems, including mold and missing thermal wall insulation. These issues were not disclosed and indicate a lack of proper building practices. 2. Gas and Water Leaks: The flat has experienced gas and multiple water leaks, posing serious safety hazards. This negligence is unacceptable and has caused considerable distress. 3. Heating System Malfunction: The entire heating system is faulty, resulting in insufficient heating and unreliable operation. This is a fundamental necessity that has not been met. 4. Fire Safety Concerns: There are critical issues with the fire safety entrance door, which compromises the safety and security of the occupants. 5. Plumbing Issues: Problems with the water pumps and persistent pipe hammering noise have been persistent and disruptive. 6. General Poor Quality Workmanship: Almost every element inside the flat has been poorly or incorrectly installed. The overall quality of workmanship is far below acceptable standards. These defects have rendered the flat uninhabitable and have necessitated the involvement of the NHBC and legal action through a solicitor. Despite these measures, many issues remain unresolved four years after the purchase. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of professionalism and the apparent disregard for quality and safety standards by Borras Ltd. This situation has caused significant inconvenience and distress. I strongly urge you to avoid this company!

We purchased newly built house at London Colney at Lowbell Lane, St Albans and after a week every things fall apart. First, second floor toilet started lucking and wall started cracked. Eventually someone came and done nothing apart from taking tiles out and leave and go. It has been two days and nothing has happened. Apparently, this problem is reported to every house next to our one. It just shows that people are being ripped systematically and I still have not heard anything from builder and straight to VM. I have no idea what could we do here’s
