Wickes Haverfordwest

This store has everything you expect from Wickes. The real plus here is the quality and friendliness of the staff. Everyone in the store is super helpful! We always come the store when we are doing our renovation projects in Pembrokeshire. Several times Terry has gone out of his way to give us excellent advice and help in store and he is really friendly and approachable. Keep up the great work and top service!

Bought a worktop from Wickes for £270 – not exactly cheap. It arrived wrapped up so tightly it was nearly impossible to inspect. The delivery drivers rushed in and out, giving no time to check the item properly. My wife was home alone and couldn’t manage to lift or unwrap something that heavy on her own. When I complained, Wickes just said it should have been checked on delivery – no help at all and no responsibility taken. Their so-called guarantee means nothing in practice. Very poor service all round. Won’t be buying from them again.

Paid a visit on the weekend,asked for help in the kitchen department upstairs,the woman was totally uninterested in helping,gave no help whatsoever,why would you employ someone so disinterested in helping people who want to spend money? What a total waste of time

Good choice of stock. Staff tries to be helpful despite being busy with restocking shelves etc. very understanding with returns and will let you have a replacement or provide a refund as long as you have a receipt. On the down side, I find some of their plumbing being of odd size at times, especially sink drains. Also, the under oven unit I bought was 605mm wide instead of the standard 600mm. That meant that I had to cut and trim all the shelves by 5mm and re-assemble it.
