I have no hesitation in recommending Timberwise for a survey or work done. Friendly and helpful, especially Graham Bulmer, who we have had to contact time and again because of the mortgage provider, and he's always obliged very promptly, which was a massive help.

Ian Hopkin visited our recently purchased property. We needed advice on a serious damp issue which had also led to damage to our floors. He arrived on time and happy to help, his approach was professional but very friendly and he gave us every confidence that he could fix the problem. His report arrived and we found it easy to understand and what would be required to fix the problem, a lot of what he explained at his visit. We proceeded with his recommendations and booked our dates with the manager Nikki, she helped us with any questions we had about timescales and the amount of work involved and unfortunately any mess we would have during the work and assured us not to worry. The technicians arrived on the agreed date and time and we could not have been happier, Elliot and James explained what they were here to do on our first few days of work, which was replacing our floor and preparing the walls for the next visit, they were very polite and worked very hard. When they finished they made sure we were happy with the work before the next work started, this was the plastering of the walls. Jonathan arrived again on time and eager to get our house back together, he was very experienced and even explained how to look after the new plastered walls and how to redecorate afterwards. From start to finish all the staff we dealt with went above and beyond to make us feel confident in our decision to use Timberwise. They are a credit to the company and we are so happy to have the issue resolved and our house back. Thank you to all involved.

Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Told me everything I needed to know. Went the extra mile as was off the following day (Friday) and needed information from the surveyor who was out. Arranged a date for the survey & said she would contact me on Monday with the details I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Mixed experiences with Timberwise. Initial visit with sales rep was good, although when queried the extra £30.00 per sq metre possible if plaster was over 18mm thick he said it was unlikely but not guaranteed....£1,000 extra to bill as it proved to be needed. Contacted in France on day that work was due to commence as key code hadn't been passed on...not sure what would have happened if we hadn't been contactable. Told we needed a skip for 5 days as the work would take all week and as extra work was being done as a result of the thick plaster we assumed it would take longer again. Work started on the Monday, by Saturday no contact from anyone to say whether it was finished (we were still away), sent a text to salesman but never received a reply, rang office on following Tuesday to be told it had been finished the previous Wednesday...less than 3 days to do work then and we'd booked it until the following Monday. Appreciate that it is a filthy job but even though it was only downstairs being done, all the dirt was upstairs too, as obviously bathroom had been used and boots not taken off....only minor, but surely loo could have been flushed and cups washed up! The work itself seems fine, but disappointed with the customer service. We hadn't planned on leaving a review, but received an email asking us to, so this is our experience.....
