Timberwise (UK) Ltd Glasgow

Often when interacting with organisations there is all round disappointment on customer service. And honesty. It’s therefore so refreshing to come across my interactions with TimberWise this week. Kerri took the booking in a very friendly and efficient manner. As the “front line” of this company she is a great representative. Jack Cowen then attended the property and had the courtesy to call ahead. He was super efficient with his time and mine and quickly went about the inspection. He had an incredibly professional manner and is clearly knowledgeable and honest. He gave an ongoing running summary of the issues in a very understandable (and transparent way). I await the report he will compile and would definitely award any required work to this company based on these two individuals. Thank you.

We recently had Jack out for a survey on our home and he went above and beyond. Great communication from day of booking and kept updated on arrival etc on day of survey. Pleased to confirm he actually saved us money when he could have just taken ours as other companies quoted for work which didn’t actually need done and there were other ways to deal with things rather than just an expensive option. Highly recommend.

Purchased a house end of June which had an existing report from Jack Cowan the surveyor. We followed that up and Jack came out to see the issues. He updated the report and we liaised a timescale to suit. Jack was fully understanding of our situation undergoing a house renovation. He was fantastic all the way through with his knowledge and availibility. He was able to give advice on products to help us as well. The Company were open to negotiation to some extent considerate of our fincial situation. As for the team of workers - well what can we say . . . .they were absolutely fantastic! Came early and put in a solid days work on top of their long commute. Initially it was hard dirty physical work pulling out the old damp walls. Then more whilst fitting the new boards, insulation and flooring. Final stage was plastering and the finish again was perfect. They all cleared up after themselves too. The attention to detail was great! They even finished the windows and skirtings with shaped pieces to suit the house. So thank you to Mark, Liam, Stuart, Ricky and Cameron the Plasterer. A job well done, quality workmanship, great communication! We are so pleased and glad they did everthing quickly for us. Thank you Jack for your support! Ruth and Ben Webb, Kilcreggan.

First Class service from the Girls in the office to the guys in the field. Great survey, great and easy set up from girls in the office arranging the schedule for work to be done. The technician, Simon, was so professional at his job from setting up, doing the job and tidying up. Thanks to all at Timberwise Glasgow for the first class customer relations.

Stuart came out to look at waterproofing our crawl space and he spent time discussing the issue we had with us in great detail. He was extremely helpful and informative. He went out of his way to help and wrote a report for us explaining why the works were not necessary and advising us of where our true problem was to provide to our insurers and get the right remediation under way without any benefit to him or his company. I found timberwise to be an honest and trustworthy company whom I would use in future should there be a need.
