Taylor & Martin Property Factors Glasgow

After eight months with Taylor Martin, I can honestly say we've never looked back. Changing factors was a real struggle. Our previous factor was unresponsive, difficult to deal with, and seemed completely uninterested in addressing residents' concerns. Emails were routinely ignored, even when they related to important issues, and getting anything done felt like an uphill battle. They certainly made it difficult when we decided to move on, but standing our ground and persevering was absolutely worth it. The difference since Taylor Martin took over has been incredible, and much of that is down to Stephanie, who manages our account. From our very first meeting last August, she has been everything you would hope for in a property manager: approachable, professional, responsive, proactive, and genuinely invested in improving our building. Unlike our previous factor, Stephanie actually listens and takes action. Every concern we've raised has been taken seriously, quotes have been obtained promptly, and real progress has been made. We now have a clean, well-maintained building, and even something as basic as a front door that opens and closes properly again, which has made a huge difference to security and residents' peace of mind. It's rare these days to find someone who is so reliable and committed to doing a good job. Stephanie has been absolutely fantastic throughout, and the service we've received from Taylor Martin has restored our faith in what a factor should be. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Taylor Martin to any development considering a change. If you're currently stuck with a factor that isn't delivering, it is well worth the effort to make the switch.

Consider this a warning to avoid Taylor & Martin. They are increasing their fees again, claiming it’s to reflect the “high-quality property management service that homeowners have come to expect.” Unfortunately, that bears little resemblance to the service we’ve received. Communication has been consistently poor. We are still waiting for updates on an ongoing issue with leaking guttering as well as approval of quotes for roof and guttering work. Everything moves at a painfully slow pace and we constantly have to chase for updates. Even then, responses are rarely prompt. The difference between the onboarding process and the service that follows is remarkable. During the sales process, everyone was friendly, attentive and full of promises. Once you’re signed up, however, the level of service falls well short of what was promised. Given the fees they charge - now increasing yet again - I expect far better communication, responsiveness and follow-through. Instead, dealing with Taylor & Martin has been frustrating, exhausting and poor value for money. They seem much more efficient at collecting management fees than delivering the property management service they’re paid to provide.

Taylor and Martin do a fantastic job in factoring and managing our properties. Chloe and Stephanie offer us a professional and efficient service and are always there when our support is needed.

I cannot recommend Taylor and Martin enough. Our property manager Stephanie is thorough, thoughtful and always takes a holistic approach to solving problems. Tackling issues feel collaborative rather than combative. T&M stand head and shoulders above other factors!
