Ripon Community Hospital

Fracture my ankle in Masham, 1st night of our weekend away. Left Masham at 08.10am Saturday morning arriving at Ripon Community Hosp at 8.30, was triaged, x-rayed and seen again with air boot fitted, arriving back in Masham by 09.20am. Absolutely fantastic, all staff brilliant, free parking, couldn't fault anything..

Horrific experience, I was 6 minutes late to an appointment, due to traffic coming past ripon racecourse, I live 40 minutes away so wasn’t to know there were temporary traffic lights. The week before this appointment, 2 hours before I was meant to arrive, I was told it was cancelled due to staff illness, however I never received any letters or texts with an appointment cancellation - I believe this was never booked. Though I fully understand I was late, a lovely lady said I could have her appointment and she could come back whenever as she lived in ripon, the nurses would not let her do so. One nurse was sat in reception laughing at me crying and kicking up a fuss. The whole experience was disgusting and I will never go back to ripon hospital! This was 2-4-25 and it was the 3 nurses working the 1pm shift.

How grateful I was to be able to walk into Ripon Hospital & have an xray on my knee with such lovely helpful staff. We are very fortunate to have this service.

Amazing staff amazing NHS it’s best Went to a drop in blood test and chest X-ray and whilst booking on the X-ray my number was called for bloods Lovely lady took my blood quickly and with no drama ( I’m terrified of needles) Went back to waiting room and was called immediately for X-ray again lovely member of staff did the X-ray efficiently and I was on my way Granted I had made the effort to go early but this was the NHS at its best Well-done to all

Had to go for Bloods at 08.30 this morning, the ticket machine had failed. However the Phlebotomists were stars and kept things moving. Just wanted to give you a shout out for just being ace!👍
