Had a great stay at millerhill. The house was warm and clean on arrival. Very minimalist which works really well. Very quiet area. Shower was brilliant and the beds were comfortable. Scott kept in touch on a regular basis and nothing was an issue for him. Would happily stay In another property.

Misleading photos, poor maintenance, and an unresponsive host — avoid. The apartment in Stirling is in a sorry state of disrepair. Door handles coming off, a bathroom door that won’t close properly, and furniture so unstable we didn’t dare sit on some of it. The quality is the lowest we’ve encountered in any Airbnb, and it’s clear there has been zero maintenance effort. The bathroom is the huge concern too. It’s a tiny, windowless room with no working ventilation — permanently damp, visibly moldy, and unpleasant to use. There wasn’t even toilet paper provided on arrival, which was a first for us across many Airbnb stays. What made it worse was the host’s complete lack of response. We raised every one of these issues during our stay and received nothing but a cheerful “are you settling in okay?” message in return. We ultimately had to contact Airbnb support directly and request a partial refund. The photos are genuinely lovely — that’s why we booked. But they bear little resemblance to reality. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

Stayed at The View Portpatrick. The house was immaculate and had everything you would need. Hot Tub was amazing and the view is incredible. Short walk to restaurants and bars and also on a scenic path to Dunskey Castle. Will be back!

Had a wonderful 2 night stay in the View in Portpatrick. Great space to relax both in inside and the garden was a fantastic place for the kids and the dog to burn off. The House is well appointed and the views are absolutely stunning. Host Scott communicated really well before, during and after the stay. Will definitely be back .

Amazing getaway !! house was stunning everything you would need for a break away from home Lovely clean house equipped with washing machine dishwasher coffee machine etc Absolutely spotless house stunning views and only a few minutes walk from the centre of portpatrick Hot tub was brilliant , chill out and watch the stars & satellites on a clear night , we were lucky enough to have a weekend with decent weather so made the break even better Honestly can highly recommend 10/10
