Pest and Property Solutions Ltd

Gareth & Sion provide an excellent professional service, we had just moved in and had pigeons nesting under our solar panels, they quickly responded with a quote and we booked an appointment in good time and the issue is now dealt with. Very happy with them, would 100% recommend.

I can’t recommend Gareth Davies from Pest and Property highly enough. I’ve used him multiple times and he is always incredibly helpful, quick, and efficient. Gareth keeps me updated every step of the way, his work is consistently thorough, and his approach is polite, friendly, yet highly professional. I always feel confident and in good hands whenever Gareth is attending to a pest control issue.

Our rabbit hutch with an old planter as an extension became the perfect home for a family of rats. Not our favourite residents. PPS came over, determined what was going on and started on the solution quickly and efficiently. Great service. Planned two more visits (so 3 in a 3 week period), proofed the area on the last visit and we are visitor free. Brilliant, thanks very much

An excellent, price-competitive service was provided by this company. Gareth was also very punctual & reliable…and a nice person to chat to whilst he was here. Consequently, I am happy to recommend this company.

Coming home from a lovely summer trip to find several rats running around outside your front door and having what looked like a small social gathering around the bins is not quite the welcome home anyone hopes for. Unfortunately, that was exactly what happened to me. I am absolutely terrified of rats, so after standing outside for a moment wondering whether I really needed to go home at all, I eventually made a very quick dash through the front door and upstairs. The following morning, pest control became rather more urgent than anything else on my to-do list. I initially looked at Cardiff Council, as their service was considerably cheaper. From the information online, however, there could be a wait for an appointment and follow-up visits would also need to be scheduled. If I had only seen the occasional rat, I think the Council service would have been a perfectly sensible option. Unfortunately, this was rather beyond the “occasional rat” stage. I had seen several at once, and knowing how quickly rats reproduce, I decided that waiting was probably not the moment to test my patience — or theirs. I found this company online and booked a same-day visit. The wider problem appeared to be coming largely from areas outside my control: nearby vacant land and an empty property with heavily overgrown vegetation and building waste. In previous years it had mainly just looked rather unsightly. This year, for whatever reason, it appeared to have become extremely attractive to the local rat population. The inspection was very thorough, covering both the front and back of the property, including parts of the garden that, by that stage, I certainly had no intention of investigating myself. Treatment was put down immediately and everything was explained clearly. During the first few days I still occasionally saw signs of activity, but after around four or five days there was already a very noticeable difference. The whole situation became much calmer and I was no longer regularly seeing rats around the house whenever I went outside. The follow-up visits helped to suppress the activity further, which was particularly important because the original source of the problem was not on my own property and therefore not something I could simply remove. This service is certainly more expensive than the Council option, but in my circumstances I genuinely felt the additional cost was justified. I was able to get somebody out immediately, the inspection was thorough, the treatment was effective, and the follow-up was reliable. For someone who is extremely frightened of rats, the peace of mind alone was worth every penny. I am particularly grateful that they helped bring the situation under control and allowed me to spend the final few weeks before moving house feeling considerably calmer — and able to approach my own front door without first conducting a full risk assessment. A huge thank you for all the help. I would happily recommend them.
