Don’t even deserve the 1* rating, they were brought in to complete an insurance claim. My grandad had a house fire December 2023, It was months before anyone made an appearance, when they did eventually turn up they were rude, unprofessional and unqualified. The 2 rooms down stairs were priority, in the living room they replaced a radiator, couldn’t get a fixing in the original holes therefore they have fixed the radiator lower but not adjusted the pipes so they just bent the existing pipes and forced into the radiator. When they wallpapered the living room, they didn’t fit any wallpaper into the corners and rounded all the edges off. A new decorator came back out to fix the issue. They claimed they didn’t put wall lights back up because they never actually worked, they were just for show, the pictures we have of the living room that day.. with the wall lights on say otherwise. The kitchen… they replaced the sink with the new kitchen, we had 9 weeks of it leaking and their response was “ yeah we can’t really get anyone out but we’ll let you know when we do” at this point the new kitchen had been fitted and all down the back was just puddled water sat there for weeks on end. The person they did eventually send out from what we saw actually didn’t do anything, the pipe continued to leak for another 3 weeks and we were told to “put a jug under it if you can”. They put us a socket short in the kitchen, refused to sort it. One of them replaced the flooring in the utility room (using a nail gun). We then met Rachel at the property and I tripped on 3 nails stuck up at the top of the stairs to which she said “Sam knock 3 new nails in” Sam proceeded to walk past me with the nail gun. In doing so he put 3 nails through the water pipes. This was only discovered when prepping for carpets, so had been spraying out for 3 weeks. When we complained they refused to answer any emails or take any calls from us, resulting in us having to employ someone else to fix the pipes and replace the floor boards. Resulting in someone from the Halifax coming to examine the work and was in agreement it was well below satisfactory. And all of that happened within the 25 days they were here over the 15 months we were waiting for completion, we were given 4 completion dates, none of which happened, we were also sent to B&Q at 9pm because Rachel said if we didn’t she would have to relocate the decorator that was suppose to be wallpapering if WE didn’t go fetch wallpaper. The wallpaper didn’t go on for another 3 months. BUT someone did come out to fix the radiator! Would have been even better had it been the right radiator. it was brilliant for the subcontractors that did nothing on the house, still got paid and helped themselves to whatever they wanted on my grandads garden. Disgusting group of people with no morals or work ethic. Avoid at all costs, hope they go bust 👍🏻 (apart from Mark the decorator, amazing man)

All the tradespeople who attended acted very professionally, they went above and beyond to help. They made sure that everything was covered to keep everything clean. They explained what they were doing. Excellent work my kitchen looks lovely

Had insurance work done in our bathroom last May by Neways.As Autumn approached we started to get damp in the bathroom and the adjacent spare bedroom. Our own plumber investigated to find they had left a gap between the new floor boards ,which they fitted and the outside wall and also a hole in the corner where they had done some pipe work. When approached by our insurance company Neways said it was nothing to do with them . We are now in the process of employing our Plumber to re do all of the faulty work. I recommended you avoid using this company.

Last year, our insurance company sent Neways to assess and put right the damage caused to our house following a major fire at our next door neighbours house. The works required were both extensive and varied and we found all the operatives to be very professional and hard working. Great attention was given to cleanliness both before each job commenced and at the end of each day. The work carried out was to a high standard and we were kept informed of appointments by telephone. As all of us go out to work, there was also a willingness to adjust the scheduled works to fit in with our commitments. Our personal experience of this company was that they were always approachable and accommodating to our needs and would fully recommend them to anybody.

Our landlord had some work done via insurance by Neways. I cannot recommend them enough. All the workers that have been are highly professional, polite, curteous, and have gone above and beyond. Everything has been completed to a high standard and I genuinely have not one negative thing to say. The people who work at the office always respond quickly and are also professional. We would highly recommend this company.
