Lingwood Security Management Ltd

My wife was subjected to an inappropriate and sexualised comment by one of the security officers employed by this company at East Croydon Station in London. The officer was apparently unaware that I was with her and standing nearby when the remark was made. I heard the comment myself and immediately challenged the officers about it. Rather than addressing the matter professionally, they laughed when confronted. As a result of this incident, we have reported the matter to the police and have opened a formal case. We have also submitted a formal complaint to the company and requested that CCTV footage be reviewed. This behaviour is completely unacceptable from individuals whose role is to provide safety, security and assistance to members of the public. No passenger should be subjected to degrading or sexual comments while travelling. The attached photographs show the officers involved. The officer wearing the beanie hat made the comment, while the other officer laughed along and did nothing to challenge the behaviour. My wife has been left extremely upset and distressed by the incident. We are deeply disappointed by the conduct displayed and hope the company takes this matter seriously and investigates it thoroughly.

Every single staff member working at Victoria station were on their phones not paying any attention - not professional at all

Just been scammed by a person in their uniform who made me pay for afull fare full my granddaughter on tfl when tfl's website vlearly states free. Train your staff!!!

I can't rate them for their security service but as a conscientious, responsible company that takes action on feedback or complaints, outstanding! I reported an incident with a driver in one of their company vehicles driving on a single track country lane while my friend and I were out horse riding. The MD contacted me personally, very apologetic and most importantly, took action to train their drivers and installed dash cams etc. I was so grateful for this and if only more businesses were so caring and responsible! Thank you Alan!
