J.Shearer Roofing Ltd

I’m really pleased with my replacement Velux. The window and its casement looks fantastic. The guys were professional, efficient and approachable. The whole process from my initial enquiry to the completion of works has been very smooth. The whole team have been professional and friendly. We will certainly be using the company for future projects.

From beginning to end a quick and efficient service Alan came out to inspect the leak and identified the issue, showing me photographs of the damaged and worn gulley on the roof. An estimate was prepared and sent to me a day later and I promptly accepted it. Although told it could be up to three to four weeks for the work to start I in fact had the work started a week later from the estimate being provided. The two workers turned and completed the work showing me before and after photos. The problem of the water ingress quickly resolved and verified as the same day we had torrential rain and no leaks appeared in the lounge. Thanks are due to the staff that I dealt with who were both courteous and prompt in their responses and to the two men who completed the repair. I would have no hesitation in recommending Shearers roofing

Getting a Roofer tradesman can be a mine field, they have poor reputations due to stories of people being ripped off, until you find a professional. J Shearer Roofing Ltd dont regard any jobs as too small, they dont create fictitous repairs that you are unable to access, nor do they say your roof is in a very serious condition requiring a full replacement, They use a drone fitted with a camera and take pics before/after repair or replacement. Surveyers have years of experience and are very knowledgeable. The guys that did a first class job for me worked flat out and even repaired a couple of faults they spotted, All staff I spoke to are cheery, polite and helpful. If you want a professional job too, I fully recommend J. Shearer Roofing ltd.

We have been using Shearer roofing now for decades and would not trust anyone else to take care of our roof! They completely re-slated our house around 20 years ago when we moved in and made a fantastic job of it. Since then - we have had them back to deal with upkeep and various storm damages - work always carried out to the highest standard with great comms and customer relations. When we had an extension built the contractor made such a poor job of it that after a year of constant leaks we had to get Shearer out to fix what was clearly a bodged job. As always - perfect result!

I was really pleased with the work of J Shearer Roofing to repair and recoat the membrane and balcony floor of my property. The work was completed to a high standard by professional contractors who were very thorough in their work and in the finishing. I would highly recommend them.
