JD Roofing and Property Maintenance

Used Jason at JD Roofing recently to remove some promenade tiles and to replace the board beneath due to a leak. We also asked them to fix a leak on a separate flat roof. Roof 1: When they initially quoted we were under the impression that all boards would be replaced, with new underfelt and mineral felt, however they only replaced the boards that were badly damaged, despite the fact that the remainder of the boards were not in great condition. The end result is a bumpy roof, with some squishy areas, and the area with the new board is not entirely flat and we now have pooling water. Roof 2: To resolve the leak, they laid new felt over the existing felt, however it was not laid down properly with several areas lifting. A few weeks later the leak was worse that it was initially. Having rang / messaged Jason over 10 times, he has failed to turn up repeatedly, has failed to answer the phone and has only answered when called from a withheld number but has stated he is in hospital. In summary very unprofessional and unskilled with absolutely no aftercare. The 5 year guarantee they provide is worth less than the paper it is printed on. £800 down the drain.
