Houghton & Son

Obtained a grant for a bathroom adaptation to wet room via our occupational therapist. The work was done swiftly from initial assessment and consultation through to completion. Andy was our main contractor who did virtually everything by himself, the asbestos flooring was removed by separate contractors after Andy gained access to the floor. We also had Andy (another one) that completed the electrical work in good time. Both contractors were supported by Scot that made sure supplies were delivered and fitted correctly signing off each element as the work went forward. Andy (our main contractor) was very hard working, diligent and friendly. Working all day for the entirety of the project. The whole team were all very professional, friendly and tidiesd as they went keeping the mess to a minimum and making the whole experience less stressful. A major concern as my wife suffers from NEADs and attracts are more likely if stressed. A massive thank you to all he team. We are so pleased with the results and grateful to all those involved.

Houghtons fitted a new wet room a little while ago which is fantastic but had a problem with the water not draining away! No problem rang yesterday afternoon spoke to Debbie who arranged for someone to come out today !! That someone was Sammi and she was fantastic sorted the problem and made sure it worked! Some will say only doing her job but she was lovely! Friendly polite bubbly and above all down to earth !! My type of person 🙂 please thank her for me and tell her she's brilliant!! She is an asset to your company 😀

Alfie came and fixed the hinges on my kitchen doors and did a fantastic job. He was professional, reliable, and completed the work quickly and to a high standard. The doors now work perfectly, and he left everything tidy when he finished. I would definitely recommend Alfie to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy handyman. Thank you!”

Amazing work from Darren, he finished off a plastering Job which Sammy orignally started, both were lovely and friendly. He had plastered a whole room, re plasterboarded the ceiling and sorted some cracks in the hall, and even came back to do a few coats of paint. Great communication with them both and the company. Really pleased thank you.

They renovated my bathroom into a wet room. All work was done beautifully and in a caring way. Thank you so much
