HANDY TO KNOW property improvement and maintenance

We're very grateful to Andrew for installing our new bin & recycling unit. He came round to measure up and advise us what to buy, then installed neatly and tidily. The result is exactly what we wanted!

Andrew has done various jobs for us - bigger and smaller jobs. He is fabulous and has always provided us excellent service. One thing I really appreciate is that he always does the right thing rather than the easiest thing. And he always finds a solution to any problem. He has fast become the first person we call for any jobs that need done - he can turn his hand to many different things. Definately 5 star recommendation

Highly recommended! Andrew from Handy to Know did a grand job for us twice. 1. Replacing a fence section that blew over in a winter storm. 2. Repairing our sunken driveway and regrading it - changing the slope - so that the bottom of the too-low sports car no longer scrapes on it all the time. The drive in particular was non-trivial. I’ve always been impressed with his attention to detail and desire to do an excellent job. He spent ages adjusting our drive to get the slope exactly right.

Andrew has assisted me on several occasions, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. He has fixed issues with my dishwasher and dryer, as well as quickly diagnosing a problem with my fridge and arranging its replacement. What truly sets him apart is his reliability and responsiveness—on one occasion, he arrived at my door within just 10 minutes of me messaging him, stepping in at short notice to help when boiler replacement work had come to a standstill due to the absence of a joiner. Andrew has become my go-to person for anything around the house, whether it’s installing new appliances or resolving unexpected problems. It’s incredibly reassuring to have someone so dependable on hand, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him any day.

Andrew did a fabulous job of building cupboards in our hallway in a very small , previously unusable space. The finish was great and he did the job very quickly and professionally. Reliable and trustworthy, would definitely use him again!
