Greenhouse People Dunfermline

Scottish helped me to confirm my choice of greenhouse as seen online by extolling its virtues in the flesh so to speak. Very pleased with service assured that if any after sales service is required, Scott is a phone call away.

We purchased a Hercules Octagonal in Summer ’25 and it’s now Spring ’26. We received excellent pre-sales support from Pauline Drummond at the Dunfermline branch. She was always responsive and helpful and there was never any hint of ‘hard sell’. After we received the greenhouse, we discovered some ‘snags’ during assembly but both Pauline and James Spooner at head office were exceptional with pre-sales support. They did all they could to resolve the issues including sending replacement parts. We are now very happy with our greenhouse which just shrugged off the winter storms and look forward to the summer ahead. From our experience, you can purchase a greenhouse from the greenhouse people with total confidence.

We were keen to have a greenhouse and there was only one space available for it, which pretty much dictated the possible dimensions. We were assisted by Scott Stothard who was very helpful, listening carefully to our fairly specific needs. Scott was keen to provide a greenhouse that met our needs, rather than try to upsell. He had excellent advice, which we took on board, and ended up ordering the Hercules Gloucester 5 x 6 greenhouse ultimate package which included adjustable vents, an automatic roof vent and shelving. We're delighted with the greenhouse and grateful for Scott's expert guidance. I decided to self-build the greenhouse. My strong recommendation for anyone else self-building is to carefully read all the instructions before beginning. I encountered a couple of problems (self-inflicted) which would have been avoided by a detailed read-through first. All things considered an excellent service from Scott and all at The Greenhouse People involved in getting our order to us.

Scott was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to advise us on possibilities for the space we had and what we needed to use the greenhouse for. Happy to recommend

Brilliantly patient and helpful team - their expertise and advice was so helpful and efficient in helping me to choose the right shed for my garden - from start to finish - can’t praise them enough! Thank you Greenhouse people 😊
