Glasgow Airport Priority Security

Fast lane ended up slowest lane, 20mins wasted, when spoken to the manager he didn’t seem to think that there’s any problem with it and by putting a ‘trainee’ on fast lane and slow everything down was his idea. When i was on the 4th at the pre-screening, my tray just didn’t make it through as everyone in front of me cut the queue and squeezed their tray before mine. So much time wasted waiting for my tray to get through and the staff didn’t seem to bother too much. Used to think Glasgow security was ok but not this time round of unpleasant experience, especially after they have invested these new x-ray machines suppose to expedite things instead it was slower than before!

I actually enjoy Glasgow airport, its not perfect but its not bad either. It's easy to navigate, it's clean with plenty of shops & places to eat. The staff are lovely especially the customer service. Reading the reviews, I think it's unfair on the airport that people score it low when things like long queues are down to the airline and not GLA

No free drop off zone, nothing special, maintenance is very poor. Airport focused on money. The only positive is free water fountain.

Absolute farce at passport control queued for almost 1 hour and 30 mins just to have my passport checked. Not to mention no explanation from staff as to why, nowhere to get water and if you want a toilet your basically putting yourself back at the end of the queue. Not even a tannoy announcement to apologise or give any information. When a staff member eventually appeared we were told there's nothing she can do it's uk border force and their policies. Absolute disgrace
