Great shop, we bought pillows, pillow protectors, 4 cheap mugs to replace chipped one, and a new washing line. Good knowledgeable staff and we had coffee in the small cafe.

Fantastic shop offering virtually every household item. Staff very helpful. Not particularly wide aisles but easy to manoeuvre a fully loaded trolley.

I ordered a microwave and some candles for click and collect and I went in Yesterday to collect them and my experience was terrible. I went to click and collect and used the link on my message to log that I was there, there was 2 members of staff there and not one of them acknowledged me, one went and brought out the candles followed by the microwave which was in a very torn box, they could quite clearly see that the box was damaged and had made no attempt to tape it up or anything and there was no apology or anything, when I tried to see if the microwave was damaged one of the ladies looked over and I said I was checking to see it was ok and she just replied whatever. What kind of customer service is this. It has certainly made me consider shopping there again, and I shop there regularly although I have noticed a huge decline in the Carlisle store.

The customer experience has sadly declined and it is now a stressful place to visit as customer service has gone since the introduction of self service tills which you are forced to use. The demographics of the majority of those who shop here come for an enjoyable browse and interaction from staff with general customer service communication which helps with mental health. For some of the older generation it may be the only people they talk to in a day especially when living alone. Bring back the old shopping experience with good old customer service or see you sales plummet as people vote with their feet! Sad times. :(

If vehicle accident prevention measures were put in place, I would give this store five stars. I understand any improvement will have to been made by the owners of Madford Retail Park, but surely Dunelm management have voiced their concerns to their landlord. The directional arrows on the road require repainting and the signage is not loud enough. Check out the traffic flow measures in place at Station Business Retail Park and this should be your benchmark.
