Dobbies Garden Centre Perth

I recently visited Dobbies Garden Centre Perth on Crieff Road and had a very pleasant experience. The garden centre has a very large and convenient car park, making it easy to visit even on busy days. The store is well organised with many different sections including seeds, garden tools and equipment, outdoor plants, indoor plants, fertilisers and agro chemicals. There are also sections for pet toys, clothing, groceries and home items, so there is really a lot to browse and buy in one place. The plant selection is excellent, with a wide range of healthy houseplants and garden plants available. The centre also has a nice café/restaurant, which is perfect for relaxing with a coffee or a meal after shopping. Overall, it’s a great place for gardening enthusiasts and families, and you can easily spend a couple of hours exploring everything the centre has to offer. ⭐ Highly recommended if you are in Perth and looking for plants, gardening supplies, or just a nice place to visit.

First time in store. Definitely a show case of all things to make your house a home, your tummy enticed to eat and garden to grow. Staff very friendly and helpful. Once i got across the language nuances, staff directed me to then took me to exactly where i needed to be. Prices, for me were acceptable for a small job that needed doing immediately but cannot speak for larger quantities. Plenty of parking.

I have purchased a number of things from Dobbies since moving to Perth two years ago but unfortunately had to return a garden spade that came apart - not a Dobbies product and these things happen. However, the whole process was quick, easy and staff at both the central Dobbies point of contact and especially the manager at Perth were fantastic. Great customer service. Thank you. Also to add: most of the potholes in the car have now been filled in so parking isn’t quite such a risky business! Lovely selection of plants - indoor and out. We’ve created a wonderful terrarium and picked up everything we needed at Dobbies. Great selection of quality garden tools with friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you find things of give advice. Fantastic array of garden furniture although you have to be quick once the summer sale starts in August - it sells out quickly.

Really disappointing experience at Dobbies Garden Centre this morning considering the good things I’d heard about it. We waited around 40 minutes for our breakfast, and when it finally arrived, several items were missing. Some of the food that did arrive was cold or over done, which made the long wait even more frustrating. When we pointed out that items were missing, there was no proactive effort to put things right. It was only after we suggested it ourselves that we were offered additional items as a replacement, which should really have been the staff’s initiative. The staff weren’t particularly helpful throughout, and for the prices being charged, I expected a much higher standard of food and service. Overall, it was poor value for money and a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning for breakfast.

Meet up with friends for coffee monthly. Always good service can be a little slow, would recommend the Scones. Never had a meal but have to say food looks good
