5 most relevant · via GoogleWe went here to have a rendezvous see my dad's aunt and have lunch on 19th June. It is also dog friendly, so we bought our dogs with us. I was glad that some Dobbies Garden Centres are open, since some of them that we used frequently, were closed down. It has a wide range of garden tools, pot and plants. It also has an aquarium shop, so anyone nearby can buy fish and the tanks.
Overall it’s a good shop 5/5 but the cafe makes it drop. 2 people working. 1 at checkout and there should have been at least 3 more making food there was a lot of customers. Also it is very expensive (£8.79 for an egg mayo sandwich!) and they had nothing left of a lot of things. But at least the food was good. It was very good but not worth the price.
When will the staff in dobies carlisle learn how to make a simple sausage sandwich. Throwing 2 sausages in between to slices of bread and not cutting them , there lyes the problem. Plesse please learn to cut the sausages down the middle so they don't roll out onto the tray. First rule in catering food, it's simple really.
We have been going to Dobbies for decades and it's a great place to view, eat, and buy products. The garden selection of items is usually well stocked, and their membership scheme is fantastic to get customers to return for a free hot cuppa! The restaurant is nice, hot food is hit or miss depending on what's on offer! There are lots of cakes to choose from and the scones always looks tasty. The staff are friendly and willing to help out. The whole place is wheelchair friendly and plenty of disabled parking.
We only go here for the play area, which is mediocre. The store is nice and clean, but overpriced. The restaurant prices are extortionate and the food is subpar. The staff we have encountered have never been bothered with their job, can't speak for the whole team.
