Devon Home Maintenance

For the second time Devon Homes have exceeded my expectations with regards to fitting my new kitchen units, from the quote stage right though to completion. The units have been fitted very professionally, and the attention to detail is second to none . Upon arriving home after completion, you would not have even known that they had been assembled from scratch, the kitchen was cleaned the units were wiped down and all hinges were lubricated. All I had to do was choose what I was going to put in each section, I am so pleased and can’t thank the Devon Homes team enough , I would highly recommend them without any hesitation and will use their services again. Thank you

Edgar and team have been amazing, clean, efficient perfectionist! They removed a splash back, made the walls good, fixed broken sockets and tiles the kitchen to an immaculate standard. Even suggesting ways of improving its longevity and aesthetics. They also replaced all of our internal doors some of which needed a lot of adjusting. They were so lovely and we really trusted their advice and craftsmanship. They were also very competitive on pricing. Which is really hard to find in the current climate. They also fitted us in pretty quickly too. Thank you all so much! We are already lining up the next jobs :)

I cannot speak highly enough of Edgar and his team who replaced our bathroom recently. They were friendly but hard working, respectful of the property and us living it the house throughout the work. They pre-empted problems and asked questions to make sure our everything was how we wanted it and the workmanship was impeccable. Things took longer than first expected but they communicated with us along the way so that we were kept in the loop. The tiling was very fiddly but Will did a beautiful job :-) Our old bathroom was over 20 years old and very cluttered looking. We now have a minimalist modern bathroom which we absolutely love. I will definitely be contacting Edgar for any future work.

Edgar and his team are great! We highly recommend their services. They're exceptionally hard-working, reactive and produce work of high quality at a more than reasonable price. They work around problems encountered on the job with skill, good judgment and appropriate communication with the client. They always seem prepared to go the extra mile to ensure complete customer satisfaction with every job. Since we first contacted them in December 2024 to resurrect a side fence blown over in the storms they have rapidly become our go-to team for small or large jobs around the house and garden. They responded rapidly to complete the fence repairs within a few weeks at a time when other fencing contractors were too busy to offer any help on a timescale less than several months. We also employed them to strip down, repair and repaint fascias and soffits (requiring a scaffold), work that was completed to a high standard over the course of a few days. Most recently, they built new patios and associated hard landscaping in our back garden, replacing old, wonky paths and patios, working from architect-drawn plans. This was the largest job we've asked them to do (several weeks of work) and we're delighted with the end result (illustrated), which has really transformed the look of this space. Many thanks Edgar and team - keep up the excellent work!

A few months ago Devon Home Maintenance carried out renovation works in our home, and now, after some time has passed, we can honestly say we are very happy with the result. The walls were levelled and redone, a new kitchen was installed, and new flooring was fitted. During the works, sound and thermal insulation was also added in the kitchen walls and ceiling, as well as in the rooms and the loft. This winter the difference is very noticeable: the house feels warmer and quieter, and our heating and electricity bills are much lower compared to last year. In the end, it’s not only about how it looks, it’s also very practical and comfortable to live in. We would definitely recommend this company.
