We have been using Devon Contract Waste to manage the commercial waste and recycling requirements across our estate for several years, and their service has been exceptional throughout. On-site, their drivers and frontline staff are always polite, punctual, and professional, ensuring zero disruption to our daily operations and our tenants. Knowing that our waste is handled by a local business genuinely committed to zero-to-landfill sustainability adds massive value to our site management. I cannot recommend DCW highly enough for any business looking for a dependable, customer-focused waste management partner in the Southwest.

They used to be a great family run business with a regular crew who always arrived on time on the right day, since being bought out by Suez they have been a joke. Missed collections are now becoming regular these days, if they aren’t coming you get rescheduled (you have to call to find out they aren’t coming) ... then they don’t turn up again, its usually 2 or three reschedules before they come leaving me a week overdue with overflowing bins. Customer service are pleasant enough but their words mean nothing, literally every time I am promised something it never happens so they will be pleased to know I won't even bother now as it is just a waste of my time.... I have been a customer for many years so it is very disappointing to be treated like this, they couldn’t care less, they apologise then do exactly the same thing 2 weeks later... I got sent a survey the other week which said someone would be in touch due to my comments.. that was 3 weeks ago, save yourself the headache and use another firm.

This is THE most appalling company to deal with. They consistently don't come and collect when they should, and then rearranged collections never happen. Despite this, they continue to take the money for collections that they haven't done. Any email contact is left ignored for weeks and is only acknowledged if a phone call is made to chase it up. It is a real shame because before they were taken over by SUEZ, they were a brilliant company with excellent and reliable service and great communication. I don't recommend anyone uses this company as you will not have your waste collected but you will definitely be charged for it.

We've recently moved from a previous supplier we had been with for over 10 years, and the service is second to none, from inital conversation about moving from our previous supplier DCW have treated us as a valued customer, delivery and installation was done without fault, collections are never missed and updated regularlly. Account manager is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Zero to Landfill was a huge reason for moving to them too. Drivers are very friendly. We've also just used their product descruction service without issues. 5***** I have no hesitation in recommending DCW.

❌ AVOID THIS COMPANY! ❌ Collections missed then you have the pleasure of being fined for their mistakes, never answer the phone, don’t deliver ordered waste bags then have the cheek to bill you for them. We left this company months ago now and are still receiving incorrect invoices. Switched to Swisco business collections and are they are spot on! Cheaper, extremely efficient, no regrets here! No idea how DCW are still in business. Save yourself multiple headaches and AVOID!
