Last year Bulldog Building carried out substantial work to upgrade our Edwardian house, replacing the original flooring in three rooms with comprehensive underfloor insulation and beautiful oak boards, transforming the appearance of much of the ground floor and making the house warmer and more energy efficient. At the same time they modernised and improved our kitchen superbly, and outside, moved and rebuilt a substantial brick gatepost to a high standard. David, Stephanie and all the team were a delight to deal with, David is so obliging and nothing was too much trouble. Bulldog worked promptly, always kept us well informed and are totally reliable. Any unforeseen difficulties which naturally arise with such work were promptly and efficiently dealt with appropriately and completely. Since we were first introduced to David and Steph back in 2021, we have had a brilliant, personal service from them and the wider Bulldog family. From taking the time to understanding our requirements, to absorbing any last minute changes, Bulldog have been accommodating and their work being to the highest standard. We've used Bulldog Limited repeatedly over the past three years, and they have become our first choice whenever we need work done around the house. They originally designed and fitted our kitchen, and we couldn't be happier with the result. David and Steph were brilliant throughout the kitchen project, taking the time to carefully work through the design with us, answering every question we had, and making the whole process straightforward and enjoyable. Although they are best known as a kitchen company, they have a highly skilled team that can tackle a wide range of building and maintenance work. Since our kitchen was completed, they've also repaired a leaking skylight, fixed a damaged soil pipe, and carried out some electrical work for us. Every piece of work has been completed on time, to an excellent standard, and with great attention to detail. One of the things I value most is being able to call one company for a wide range of jobs, rather than having to find and coordinate multiple contractors. The tradesmen themselves also deserve a special mention. Every member of the team has been skilled, professional and courteous, taking real pride in their work. They work efficiently and always leave everything clean and tidy at the end of each day, which makes a real difference when you have young children at home. What I value most is the peace of mind they provide. Whenever something needs doing, I know I can call David and Steph and trust that the job will be done properly. We still have a few more projects planned with them, which says everything about the confidence we have in their work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bulldog Limited. The service we received from Bulldog was first class from start to finish. We were recommended to use them by a family member who had previously had work completed from them to a very high standard. David was brilliant pre build listening to our ideas and helping us plan for exactly what we wanted with his expertise. He made several trips and met with our structural engineer to ensure we were going to have exactly what we wanted. His quotation was detailed which was a massive help when budgeting for our build. The communication throughout the build is second to none, there is always someone available to speak to, whether it is one of the ladies in the office (Rhona, Andrea or Steph) or lads on site (Paul was superb for us) and site visits scheduled in so that everyone knows what is going on and any queries can be ironed out. We added a lot of extras throughout our build and all were carried out and planned in almost immediately with an updated quote, nothing was too much bother. I spent a lot of time on site and all of the bulldog team were extremely professional throughout, clean and tidy (even the neighbours commented on then fact they cleaned our drive before leaving). The aftercare has been exceptional, David has a brilliant system in place to ensure any snags are dealt with in a very timely manner. If you are in any doubt on which builder to use, I would definitely use Bulldog.

I had a single story extension demolished, rebuilt and integrated into the kitchen. I also had old garden walls demolished and rebuilt, my off-street parking improved and a roller door installed. It took me a long time to choose a building company because you hear such nightmare stories. I researched several, went to see work Bulldog had completed at a friend of a friend's home and was impressed by it and their experience of working with Bulldog. I then arranged to meet with David, was impressed by him and decided to choose Bulldog. David and the entire Bulldog Team were amazing from the beginning of the project to the end. I could not have asked for a better outcome or to have worked with such professional, accommodating people. They listened to me and advised me, where they thought tweaks to the original plans were required, to improve the outcome. They were also very accommodating when I asked to add small things in that I had not previously thought of. Other than my additions, importantly, it cost exactly what I was told it was going to cost at the outset. They turned up on time, worked solidly throughout the day and checked in with me regularly. Even several of my neighbours commented on how impressed they were with their work ethic and wanting to ensure that they were considerate to their needs too. The work they undertook is of the highest standard and everyone who has seen the finished work has been impressed by it, with many "wows." I am so happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Bulldog. David has a great team around him and clearly wants to deliver the best outcome he can for his clients.
