We received several quotes and this one ranked near the top end of the price range. We wanted to avoid complications associated with cheap bids and went with BRC. We ended up dealing with all of those complications. Pointing was not complete top to bottom. We were offered the option of finding another contractor to deal with gutters and quoted even higher costs to finish the job. I even had to address a window myself because they would not. All things I would have happily paid for but wasn't given the option. Pointing is still falling down two stories months after the job was finished. They half heartedly cleaned up after themselves. We filled half of a recycling bin with Pointing left behind. They also did not cover the gutter drain and it filled with Pointing that I hade to remove by hand. I now have birds living in the house where they did not complete the pointing. This isn't a situation of wanting more than I paid for. Its simply a company that did not finish the job but charges rates like they are and then not offering solutions only dropping problems in your lap.

Good quote from BRC to restore some sandstone window lintels on my Victorian/Edwardian house in Leeds. They turned up when they said they would and did a top quality job. Highly recommended.

We have found the team at BRC to be unparalleled in their workmanship, craft, attention to detail, and overall quality the stone works that they produce. The team completed a full restoration and rebuilding of the exterior space adjacent to our Coach House, including a new double skin sandstone walling, steps, sandstone path, and copings.
