B&Q Stirling

Pff. It's a DIY chain. Over priced for some stuff. Cheap for some other stuff. Staff reasonably OK. Last resort place. EXCEPT for the wood cut service which adds a few stars

I raced in tonight with 3 minutes to go til close and to my horror my phone froze at the point of paying. Staff were so kind and helpful despite the shop being technically closed. Thank you.

Went with the intentions of buying a glass light shade, so many to choose from, but unexpectedly ended up finding something far more more suitable for our size of living room which also fitted right in with our decor too. We bought a 35cm Trio Light Grey lightshade for £32. There were two sizes of this one and the larger of the two was perfect. It looks great and the amount of light we now have in the living room is really much better than we had with our old shade. A fantastic buy at a really good price.

Great store but limited selection of paint, no goodhome paint sample pots and staff don't know when more will return.

Had to get some sheet material cut. Much easier that doing it yourself. Friendly, helpful staff.
