Really solid DIY store if you're in the Doncaster area. The staff here are consistently helpful and actually know their stuff. I've asked for advice on paint, decking, and tools a few times, and every time I got straight answers without any pushy upselling. The store is big, well laid out, and kept tidy. The garden centre has a great range of plants all season, and I've never struggled to find timber or plasterboard in the sizes I need. Prices are fair, and the B&Q app with Click + Collect works perfectly at this branch — my order was ready within an hour. Big plus for the timber cutting service and the paint mixing station. Even on busy Saturdays the checkout queues move fast. I keep coming back here for renovations and garden projects, and I'd recommend it to anyone local doing the same.

First time I shopped at B&Q and it was a horrible experience. I choosed the shop as it is close to my home, and I liked the idea to see the things and then deliver it to my home. I spent a lot of money there, as we are redecorating our house. We gave a time slot, a date when we would like the items to be delivered. I was all day at home, waiting for the delivery, which never turned up. We could track the delivery, we saw when it is dispatched and then it showed order completed. So we called all the numbers from the receipt, so we talked with two different customer service, who were not able to help. One of them called the store, but nobody picked the phone according to what the customer assistant said. So we spent a lot of money for a headache and still didn't get refunded.

I usually get my paint from here but the B&q brand goodhome is a bit hit and miss. Each tin can contain a different shade. I went in to B&q to show just how different the shades were and even the finish. They were shocked at the quality but sorted out the problem to the best of their ability. Prices are very up and down, sometimes it can be the most expensive place to buy something, other times they have great deals on things.

Quite a large store has a large gardening section selling plants ,gravel, wood, fencing etc. Thought that some of the small bags of gravel were on the pricey side but that was just my opinion. Had water butts, barrows , plant food, tools etc. Had decorating,lighting, tiles, building supplies, bathroom,kitchen, too many to mention. Also has a loo which is also disabled so very handy if caught short. Asked for help to find an item and the staff were very helpful.
