Bishopton Veterinary Group

Our puppy Eric needed an operation for his liver. The specialist vet came to the local Bishoptons did the investigations and then operated a few days later at Ripon Bishoptons, the communication was excellent and there was no travelling to a specialist centre which would have been stressful for our dog. The care and kindness shown to both Eric and to us throughout the whole treatment was so appreciated and helped get us all through it. Every person including the receptionists nurses and vets were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Professional care at its absolute best. Our little dog is making a good recovery thanks to them all.

Our loveable dog is so loveable he gave himself happy tail syndrome. Numerous visits per week to have it re dressed. And everyone has always been so good with him, and greet him like an old friend. He’s had a rough ride , but it’s been made easier by excellent staff. We can highly recommend the lifetime care club, he’s been a member all his life , and has enjoyed all of the perks , but this time around, with so many trips to the vets being needed, it’s paid for itself several times over. It’s been a huge weight off our mind knowing that we can take him down any time and not have to worry about the cost

The staff at Bishopton vets Ripon are so supportive and caring. Over the last month they have shown patience , support and kindness not only to us but to our very anxious dog. I cannot thank them enough for their care of Smudge. They have all been amazing. Thank you so much

I have two Labradors, Jack is 6 with elbow dysplacia and Sophie is 12 with arthritis in her paws and hips. Smudge the spaniel was the support dog for the experience 😄 I especially booked an appointment to see Ian at the Ripon practice as I feel both dogs need a bit more support to manage their progressive discomfort. Ian is very nice, had a lovely way with my dogs, Jack can be a bit nervous. He was professional, kind and answered all my questions about treatments for now and into the future to keep my favourite four legged family members comfortable. Jack and Sophie wished me to hurry up and stop talking as it was past dinner time, But a treat from Ian took their mind off it for a second!

We visited Bishopton vets for the first time today with our rescue dog of 5 days. He is reactive to other dogs and we were given access via a side door, which was so reassuring and very understanding, thank you! The vet was kind, thorough, very knowledgeable and empathetic. His examination was comprehensive and all his care options were fully discussed. We are new to the area and so pleased to find this practice and certainly not disappointed! Highly recommend
