Bangor Station Review Bangor Station is a lovely little station with a welcoming atmosphere and a great location for exploring Bangor and the surrounding area. The station is clean, easy to navigate, and offers beautiful views of the Welsh landscape. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the journey even more pleasant. Overall, it is a convenient and charming station that provides a good start or end to a visit to Bangor. Highly recommended for travellers visiting North Wales.

This station is on the London-Holyhead mainline but doesn't get as many services stopping there as you would hope. It can get busy during university terms, especially on Fridays when students head home for the weekend. It's also a bit of a trek from the city centre. Having said I've used this station many times and the trains pretty much always turn up on time, or at least close to being on time.

Cathedral is welcoming, but some of the High Street shops look worse for wear. Didn't get up to the University so perhaps missed the best areas. Not much signage from the station and the toilets were all locked, so didn't feel welcoming for tourists, although all the people we met were lovely and very helpful.

Only a small station but always clean and tidy. Good shop/cafe on the platform. My son who uses trains a lot always grabs food from there before his journeys. Wheelchair accessible. Pay parking available. Pick up spaces, no charge, waiting limited to 20 mins.
