I am extremely disappointed with the management of Edmonton Green Shopping Centre by Ashdown Phillips. As a customer, I witnessed an interaction involving the centre manager, Sam, which I found very concerning. Based on what I observed, the conduct appeared unprofessional and gave the impression of discriminatory behaviour towards a Black customer. This created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere in what should be a safe and inclusive public space. This raises serious concerns about accountability and whether there is a genuine commitment to equality, diversity, and respectful treatment of all customers. It reflects poorly on the standards expected from professional centre management. In addition, the overall condition of the centre appears neglected and not maintained to a high standard, which further impacts the customer experience. Compared to other shopping centres, the difference in quality and environment is noticeable. Clear and meaningful improvements are needed — particularly in leadership, accountability, and ensuring all customers are treated with fairness and respect.

I visited Weston Favell Shopping centre (managed by AP) over the Christmas period and the centre was clean, easy to park and accessible. A good mix of high street and independent brands and you get a real sense of community when inside. Christmas activities were also very well done.

Received exceptional customer service from Cheryl. Went above and beyond to assist me regarding an issue at one of the car parks, very professional.

Disappointed by my experience.
