Armsec UK Limited

I bought a number of Hikvision cameras from this company a little over a year ago and was very happy with the pre-sales advice and service received. Recently, one of the cameras (covered by the manufacturers 5 year warranty) has developed a fault and I've not been able to contact them; their phone system has been broken for several weeks and they have not responded to emails that have been sent over the coarse of about 3 months. The website is still up, but given that user credentials are now needed to get into it and their general lack of contact, I wonder if the company are still trading.

Thanks for your help with setting up my four Hikvision cameras! I don't understand why Hikvision makes it so not user-friendly... I would not have been able to get it working without your help! For anyone considering buying hikvision online - just use these guys! they know everything inside out and offer excellent after-sale support on both the installation and IP configuration and App set up!

Very good pre-sales advice via the telephone from Armsec. I purchased my first Hikvision Mini Bullet camera and will certainly purchase more from Armsec. Buying off eBay and Amazon is a minefield full of grey imported products. I wanted to know I was buying a genuine EU / UK version of Hikvision camera.

Helped me to choose and put together a set of Hikvision cameras and a video intercom. I then came back to buy a few more - again, excellent service and support throughout the set up process! Would recommend.

Initially I bought my first camera off ebay. Unfortunately, it broke down just a few days after the return period and because the seller was Chinese, any communication about return was quite awkward. After that negative experience I decided to seek advice, following a recommendation of a friend of mine, and buy my next CCTV from armsec. Talked to Tony and then Ed (twice) over the phone and got really good advice both on the technical side of things as well as some tips on the installation. Got everything delivered and installed over the weekened. My only negative comment, which is obviously in no way a reflection of my experience with armsec, but why are hiokvision cameras so not user friendly. Without Ed's extensive step-by-step I would never have been able to set up the Hikconnect thingy... Thanks Guys!
