The location is perfect, with a wonderful duplex layout, beautiful skylights and several windows that let in plenty of natural light, as well as a private rear terrace that isn’t overlooked. It’s the ideal spot to enjoy a meal or a drink on a sunny day. It even reminded me of the house from the Twilight films, which made it feel even more special. The place was immaculate and exactly as described. Everything was 10/10. The hosts were responsive, quick to reply, and very helpful throughout our stay. The only minor point is that the cooker is an induction hob, and I personally prefer traditional cookers that don’t automatically switch off, but that’s purely a personal preference. I would recommend this place 100%, and I’d love to stay here again the next time I’m in Edinburgh.

Had a great time, apartment was clean and centrally located for everything we wanted to do, The Castle, Greyfriars, Museums and The Fringe. It was easy to get too from the train station as well. We packed so much, activity, culture, history and of coarse shows into the few days we stayed there. Would defiantly come back and stay at the same place

We stayed (three adults) for four nights in early July 2026 at the flat right next to Grassmarket street and the experience was great. The location is amazing, with all the sightseeing attractions close and easily accessible. The flat was clean and had all the amenities that you need for a nice and comfortable stay in Edinburgh. If we are ever back in the city, we will get the same place.

This was a great place to stay, very clean and so spacious. It had everything we could possibly need. The location was great for all our daily excursions. Alice was very responsive to all our queries. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

For fellow travelers who wants to visit Cork and or the UCC in cork, Ashlin House is the place to be! It's affordable, clean, have a gym and ofcourse complimentary free wifi. One of the best stays I have ever had anywhere. The staff member Clodagh has been incredibly helpful and kind. If I visit Cork again! This will be the place of my choice to stay anytime ☺️
