AM Sandstone Restoration Stirling

Andy's team - Ryan, Danny and Simon - did an amazing job on the garden wall, the front wall and the rear wall of my early 20th century sandstone house. It looks really good, and the result has been greatly admired by friends and neighbours. They were no bother to have around and were particularly keen to make sure all was cleared and tidied up before they left. I would be very happy to recommend the company to potential customers.

I had renovation work done to the front and gabke end of the property. They work was carried out to a high standard. I was very pleased with the result. AMSR also carried out repairs to the roof including new woodwork and slates. Very thorough. Thankyou.

Nothing but appalling treatment from A&M Sandstone and Adam, if I could give 0 stars I would. We have given A&M Sandstone over a year and a half to do the right thing. Originally contracted (in February 2024) to do stonework pointing on our property when they also advised that our roof was in poor condition and would require replacement. Thinking they were trustworthy (in part due to the Google Reviews) and with a baby due imminently decided to proceed with them to undertake the works, thinking we were doing the best thing for the house and family. All seemed to be progressing well until the works were “completed” and final payment made. Two weeks later I discovered water ingress in and around all the dormer windows on the house. I contacted Adam to get the issues resolved and then started the long arduous process of getting the defects caused by Adam/A&M fixed competently. They returned to the property several times, once to apply some flashband to the sides of the dormers as a “repair”, the leaks continued. I eventually got Adam to agree to a remedial repair to be undertaken in May of last year, however, the leaks continued as the work was not done correctly. From this point Adam became harder to get a hold of eventually ghosting us in August of last year, leaving a young family with a leaking roof. Eventually, after over a year of leaks, we had to get a 3rd party out to properly fix the works, leaving us even further out of pocket. Avoid at all costs they will not do a good job, and it’ll cost you. I’ve extensively documented everything, and the video uploaded shows the state we were left in after our new roof was “completed” by A&M Sandstone last year.

AM Sandstone was recommended to me by a colleague, and I’m really glad I went with them. Their qualified stonemasons did a great job restoring the frontage of my sandstone property. It looks so much better now and has really lifted the whole appearance. Highly recommend.
