A big thank you to Stevie and the team from AIM for the work they did re-constructing and waterproofing our garage and windows. Having found serious leaks in our garage and around some of our windows AIM were instructed by our insurers to essentially strip down and re-build the roof of our garage. We also found that the waterproofing around a couple of windows had failed. The work to the garage was complicated by the proximity of a retaining wall. Stevie managed the project really well, providing us a detailed programme so we could inform our neighbours when the scaffold would be up and how long for. He was onsite regularly inspecting work and briefing staff on what they needed to do. His communication with us was great, if we did find a minor snag, he made sure it was rectified quickly. The rest of the team from AIM were great. All very considerate and we have been very happy with the quality of work and attention to detail eg. ensuring a good fall in all directions on the roof, re-plastering and painting inside the garage, fixing new lights and moving sockets. They spray tested the roof thoroughly to check for any leaks and we have since had some heavy storms but no water ingress - a big relief! We had new zinc window cladding installed, which we are really pleased with. The roofers suggested a new gutter be installed for one window and connected into existing rainwater drain, which AIM picked-up. Overall, we had a really good experience with AIM and would definitely consider them for any other (non-insurance) work needed for the house.

DO NOT LET AIM INTO YOUR HOME. AIM were contracted by our insurance company and had I seen these reviews beforehand they would not have stepped foot in the house. These pictures do not show the mess that my home has been left in. As soon as work started things went wrong, an over the bath shower was installed without the bath which ment it wouldn’t have been able to be used (this was rectified), wall panels were ruined by careless workmen scratching or damaging them, the new bathroom suite we have purchased is all scrapped or damaged with silicone and the trims around the bathroom haven’t been installed correctly. There is a massive gap between the light and the ceiling I can get my hand under and a gap around the door frame. The siliconing was done at the last minute in an unclean bathroom which has resulted in a terrible job with bits of debris in it. Three rooms in the house need to be decorated due to the carelessness of the workmen taking chunks out the wall or scrapping and marking paint. We arrived back on a Friday night to grab something and they had turned the heating on to dry the plaster over the weekend. When they installed the kitchen cabinets they drilled right through into the livingroom leaving two holes in the wall. Cabinets have fell apart and they have rehung them without ensuring they are together and to top it all off they left me without working lights downstairs for 6 days as someone had put a nail through a cable. The cleaners also only do the bare minimum and on the surface it looks ok however we had to spend hours reclining the kitchen to be able to use it. Today when their electrician showed to fix it he cracked my light attempted a terrible fix and left. My new driveway is also covered in silicone and they tried to get someone to power wash it to remove the marks even after I explained the driveway is raised and we can’t resand it in winter. The managers lie to you, staff don’t answer your calls and then they try to hold you ransom by throwing away things and asking you to pay for them to fix it. I would avoid at all costs, a complaint is in with the insurance company and the same complaint will be forwarded to Trading standards as how they are still in business I will never know. If you value your home and your sanity I would avoid AIM at all costs my review only scratches the surface of what actually happened.

AIM took a very distressing situation and kept us informed throughout the entire process. All decisions and ideas were discussed to make sure we were happy with the end result. Most importantly both our home and our family were treated with kindness and respect throughout. The finish and execution of the work has ensured our home is safe, restored and is now once again being enjoyed. Thank you to all the teams involved with Ben overseeing - highly recommended!

Connor really helped take a lot of pressure off me at a time of great stress. Thank you for all your guidance, support and advice. I would not hesitate to recommend Connor and The Team!

Ignore the negative reviews — this company has been an absolute privilege to have working on our home. They were contracted through our insurance company, and after reading some online reviews beforehand, we were honestly worried. It turns out we had absolutely nothing to worry about. Every single person who came into our home was kind, respectful, hardworking, and efficient. They kept us informed throughout the entire process and clearly took real pride in their work. Having work done on your home can be stressful, especially when it’s a home you love and have worked hard for, but the team made the whole experience so much easier. A special mention to Scott, the decorator, who treated our home as if it were his own. His care, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. We would happily use Aim again for any future work because they have proven themselves to be reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely caring.
