Wrightway Construction

I have been lucky enough to have Russell and his friendly, professional, hardworking team, carry out numerous jobs on our home for many years. Living in an old property in a conservation area has thrown up several issues which they have taken in their stride to resolve, keeping us well informed as to the work being carried out at each stage, paying particular attention to detail, with excellent results. Over the years we have had our gable end wall hacked off and re-rendered. Internal walls tanked and plastered to resolve damp and leak issues, and a utility room constructed. More recently, old cast iron guttering replaced with conservation approved guttering, loft insulated and boarded and garden walls that had been rendered badly in the past, stripped back and rebuilt into proper stone walls, to match the rest of the garden. Special mention to Rob, Jordan and Eleanor, who worked solidly every day until each job was finished to an exceptional level. I have no hesitation in recommending Russell and the team to anyone who needs good professional advice and expertise!

Over worked and under paid. Wages have been 2 days late for sick pay and now my notice has been handed in for a week today shock horror it's the 6th and wages due on the 4th and no money. Emails being ignored etc. only 1 email today stating I be paid but no response since and I've sent more than 1 email. I have a family to provide for and now I'm in financial hardship because nobody can be bothered to do they're job properly

Excellent service and helped with the design and recommended items which were within budget. The builders came on time and were extremely reliable! If we had any questions or queries, they were over straight away! Will definitely use these guys again

We originally asked Wrightway to convert our garage into two rooms , and were immediately impressed by thoughtful attention to details we hadn't even thought about, and how fast the project came together. The job was almost complete when Storm Eunice hit us and we lost the roof over part of the project, with subsequent water damage to all the new work. Our insurance company were pretty useless, but thankfully, Wrightway were able to squeeze the work into their schedule, replacing the roof and repairing all the water damage. The end result is stunning and the house has really been transformed. We were then let down by a local firm over a bathroom installation, so we asked the ever-dependable Wrightway if they could fit that in. That project is now almost complete, and we are delighted with the results: as usual the work has been done with thought and care, and we have a room where we got to choose all the options we actually understand without having to have a detailed knowledge of building work. There have of course been occasional delays and setbacks, inevitable given the scope of the work we've had done, but the fact that Russ makes an effort to keep you fully informed throughout makes the whole process so much easier.

We have worked with Russell and his team for a decade now, renovating a listed building, including completely re-building the roof, stripping and repointing the exterior walls, relaying floors, replacing ceiling joists, and completely renewing the interior, including kitchen and bathroom. The building now looks fabulous, inside and out, and so many elements large and small are down to the care and attention of Russell, Rob, Andrew and others on his team. They have consistently gone the extra mile, while also taking on all aspects of the project management - and at the same time being willing to work around the occupants. We started with the roof in 2015 and have never looked back. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
