Wood By Design

After having an accident with our dining chair where the top section completely broke off, we contacted Wood By Design. Immediately we felt confident that this was a professional company. Dieter came to our house and gave us an estimate to carry out the repair at his workplace by placing two metal pins in the broken section, glued and stained. The chair was returned this afternoon and the result was better than we expected and at a fair price. We were kept informed on each step of the process and we would thoroughly recommend this company.

Dieter did a fantastic job of restoring our damaged furniture. He responded very quickly to my enquiry with good advice, and a reasonable quote. The work he carried out is exemplary. He met all deadlines and kept us well informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Wood By Design for all aspects of furniture restoration.

Dieter is fantastic. Diligent, hardworking and with incredible attention to detail. He did a great job on our stairs, shelving and walls and went above and beyond in touching up other bits that popped up along the way, popping back on multiple occasions until everything was perfect. Great guy to chat to as well. Thanks Dieter!

Dieter restored our 20 year old Oak front door. He clearly has a love for wood, and passionately explained all the reasons why he performed the specific processes and treatments. His quote was clear, sensible and honest. He worked hard (and the weather was kind!) which meant he came under budget. He did a fantastic job, and we are very pleased with the finished door - exactly what we wanted. It is therefore easy for me to thoroughly recommend him!

Thank you so so much to Dieter for bringing a much loved, delicate coffee table back to life. This is a special piece of furniture that carries much sentiment for me, so I wanted to trust in someone who works with care and compassion, and Dieter did not let me down. From day one, Dieter has been incredibly professional, yet kind and compassionate, and we are grateful for the work he has done. Thank you Dieter, until next time!
