Close by city center. Easy walk. Its a small place so go when its less busy.Wash cost 7£ for 1 load of wash and 1£ per 6 minutes dryer. The gentleman that worked there was so kind and helpful. You have to bring your own detergent and fabric softener. You can pay for washing machines with coins or credit card. The dryers are strictly coins only so bring extra coins. Dryers do not take 10 & 20 Pence denomination coins. It was quick, convenient and very clean!

A convenient self-service laundry just minutes from the Bath train station. There are four regular sized washing machines, three large machines and four large dryers (one was out of order). It's a small, well used space. Not dirty but also not exceptionally clean. No vending machines for detergent or for making change - so come prepared. On our visit, there was an open box of detergent that we used but I don't know if it's always there. It would be nice if there were instructions and costs for each machine along with approximate times for a wash cycle.

About 7 machines and 3 dryers (a fourth one out of order). 4 GBP per load, (or 8 GBP for the large machine); then the dryers go by 50p. Why 2 stars? Not very tidy or clean, one dryer had a funny smell, no washing powder available and only cash payment with coins allowed. No machine to get change or anything. And there is no guidance on how long each wash takes so you need to sit and wait :-(

Compact laundry conveniently close to the canal for those of us who live on boats. The gentleman working there seems to be deaf and/or mute, but he was nice and still gets his point across. Just be polite and patient. There is a card reader to pay for your machines, but it didn't work while we were there. Also, as some have mentioned, no on-site detergent, etc. There's a corner shop right down the block where you can get it, though, and they were also happy to give us change for the machines. There's not much room to hang out and wait for your laundry, but fortunately, there's a lovely pub right next door where you can have a snack and a drink while you wait. Also, note the hours for dropping off/picking up serviced laundry are not the same as the open hours for self-service.

So helpful and friendly and a cool credit card machine for the washing part, handy to bring some coins for the dryers (for self-service). Good idea to bring your soap with you (for self service). Lovely to sit next door at The Ram pub and have a cold one in between cycles. The owner lady and her helper are so nice!
