Wickes Stoke On Trent

It is a good store with good prices, but on a recent visit I was reminded why I should try to go local. 1. The disabled toilets are located within the expansive kitchen display section with no signage. Myself and another family were walking around trying to find it, it actually felt almost comical. 2. The tills, glacial at best. Will add on at least an extra 10 minutes, after I’d finally found the toilet. It is appreciated that toilets are provided, but DIY shopping is time consuming at best, especially when factoring in the queues for the till.

Great store , got everything there that you need pretty much. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Highly recommend shopping here for all your DIY needs, will be back again rather than driving out to Crewe all the time as more they seem to have more stock of everything, todays visit was to buy a length of 15mm thick pine skirting board which I should of got Friday just gone while I was there for some 19mm ballnose timber edging

So many diy items massive selection of every do it your selfers favourite items they have everything you can think of. Staff are always happy to help and very fast and efficient.

Call me old fashioned, but when I get to the till I expect to be greeted with a "Hi", or "Good afternoon". I then expect the cashier to continue to be forthcoming with information and/or questions, such as "Is that everything", "Did you find everything you were looking for today", "That will be £27.50 please, cash or card?". I don't expect to be ignored whilst three members of staff continue their own discussions. To check out without a single word being said is very Aldi-esque, and I don't like it.

Ordered online to pick up next day, Ordered 3 pieces of trim in 2 lengths and they got it wrong, then disagreed when I pointed it out, until she checked the order.
