Wickes Exeter

Fabulous response from the Wickes Exeter store team for my in-shop request for Paving Grouting. The shelves were empty, marked out of stock, but a lorry was delivering. I was checking out when one team member spoke to another to locate me and let me know fresh stock was on the delivery. How's that for service. Thank you Wickes Exeter. Travelling across town from Marsh Barton for my building materials paif off again!

Went to buy materials and took a while to find the bits we needed.. spent over £250 to be slapped with £100 parking fine on top. The colleagues in the branch were quick to help and have assured me this has been sorted. Really friendly and helpful. Victoria and the other young lady working with her were great. 😁 In summary, service and products are great but be careful of parking restrictions

Very poor. I ordered 50 rolls of insulation and booked a delivery slot a few days later and I paid cash at the Torquay depot, at 08.30 I received a phone call from Exeter dept saying that they can't deliver because they have to 'security check' (I had already paid in cash) but he was hopeful that they could deliver the next day. At about 16.30 I received a call from Plymouth depot saying that they could deliver 50% that evening around 18.00, then a call a bit later saying he had managed to fit it all in the van. They delivered it that evening. My gripe is if they have to do 'security' why not do it the day before. I cancelled my worker because I can't afford to pay him to stand around doing nothing, the job is supposed to be completed by now and all I've achieved is to get 50% of the rolls in the loft. Not good for my customer.

Visited the Exeter store today and was served by Soph. She paid attention to her surroundings asked if I needed help before I even asked her, she was lovely, listened to the issue I have, advised me and then took me to the items I that I needed to fix it, showed me various options. Thanks so much :)

I ordered some wood to be delivered and couldn't be around for the 4 hour delivery window, I called in to see if the driver could call 20 minutes before so i could meet him. Sophie picked up the phone and was brilliant, she spoke to the driver, made sure contact could be made and called in the next morning as soon as her shift started to let me know, it was a huge weight off my mind!
