Wickes Doncaster

Great Wickes branch on Leger Way. Staff are friendly and really know their stuff — helped me loads with my bathroom project. Store is always tidy and well stocked, with a brilliant timber yard and wood cutting service. Click & Collect is super fast, usually ready in under an hour. Prices are fair and own-brand quality is solid. Parking is easy too. Definitely my go-to DIY store in Doncaster.

We went to buy cobble stones as we had just redone our fishpond. Stock levels online showed 70+ bags but only 3 bags were available on a pallet and all 3 were split open. I approached a staff member for assistance and he explained the stock level were most probably in the holding area and not put out yet but as 3 bags were ample for our needs he explained we could have them at half price if we wanted. He rebagged them up and was present at the checkout for us. The stones were already on offer from £10 per bag to £6 so purchasing at £3 per bag was an absolute bargain! Friendly helpful staff. Helpful staff and plenty of home products, most of them at a good price some maybe not, carpark could have some new markings as are a bit faded otherwise big carpark with plenty of spaces and there's a food container in the carpark with excellent food!

Just been in for some plays sand with my newborn and 1 year old when I went to the click and collect Diane was so kind to help me get the sand back to my car and not only that she put it in the car for me and was kind enough to take my trolley back too!! Such a kind women!

Always have good buy and good atmosphere. Everything i need there that's why only go too my local wicks in doncaster helpfully when needed and polight
