5 most relevant · via GoogleOk, for the needed items provided you know exactly what you want but some staff seem to have very limited product knowledge and even less awareness of the layout and location of goods within the place where they are employed. A bit difficult to find a member of staff to show some enthusiasm in providing help to access and load several boxes of large ceramic tiles. Perhaps a level of improved staff training would be of benefit both to the customers and might possibly provide the staff with some job satisfaction.
Unhelpful. I went in to ask about buying a full pallet of sharp sand. Jack, the man behind the counter was standing there with a pallet truck. I asked if there would be someone that could help me by taking the pallet out to my vehicle using the pallet truck they were standing there with. No, apparently that would be a health and safety risk. The onky way was to load it up on my own using the shopping trolleys. I bought as many as I could fit on the trolley and left but very frustrating to experience unhelpful people and of course Ill get the rest of what I need from somewhere a bit more helpful...
Visited recently and was struggling to find a specific item. Luckily, a very helpful member of the team sorted me out and directed me straight to the correct aisle. The store itself was clean, tidy, and absolutely packed with plenty of choices. Great experience!
Conveniently located next to B and Q. Free carpark. Some of the stock is reasonably priced. Fairly helpful staff.
My self and my partner recently went to enquire about the possibility of having a new bathroom and potential kitchen fitted. Both are over 20 plus years old and are in need of updating and repairs to a leak we have. All was great till this evening. We went to see the lady who had made a plan of what our bathroom was going to look like and to tell us about the cost etc. But as we left I heard her say “load of rubbish” which made me feel like she thought we were not serious or only after a design and free quote. But that’s not the case. We just need to sort out the finances first. Not impressed and put us off using wicks but it does seem like our only viable option at the moment. Update- we went to Glowquest in Ellesmere Port and had a better experience. More options given to us, like tile boards instead of tiles a grout free option for us. Sorry wicks but not using you.
