Wheatley Launderette

Awful. Disgusting. Only one large machine. Rest load size smaller than our home machine. Dirty and in need of a deep clean Advertises card payment, yet not working. Nearest Cash point about 2mi away. Coin dispenser can't count. Short changed £1 Not clear how to use the machines, selected wrong cycle unable to change, ended up on a delicate cycle with a short spin, and very damp washing.

DO NOT USE THESE FACILITIES. they are a waste of time and MONEY, your clothes will come out smelling moldy as the amount of mold inside the washing machines.Machines do not put enough water in, water does not wash the soap out of the soap dispensive drill. Maximum machine time 39 minutes equals no water on clothing . VERY RUDE UNHELPFUL STAFF. Machines will not spin clothes so when the clothes come out of the Machines they are soaking wet to a point where they need to be wrung out by hand. Avoid at all costs

Machines smell and most don't complete a spin (nothing to do with load volume). Contactless has never worked, but no facility for cash/coins. Often closed so they can do private orders with no notice.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I would not recommend anyone to use this laundry service. The owner is extremely rude and very unhelpful. If anything goes wrong, he’s nowhere to be found and shows no interest in helping customers. On top of that, the place is not clean at all — the machines are dirty and there is a complete lack of hygiene. His attitude is awful, and the overall service is honestly a 0/10. Very disappointing experience.

The washers and dryers are large and work well. The launderette is relatively clean, and the parking right out in front. But bring a large coin collection, 10p, 20p, 50, £1, £2. As there is no way to pay by card. The local neighbouring businesses are abrasive and brash if you ask for change even after you buy something.
