West Country Maintenance

Had these cowboys(feels inappropriate to call them cowboys as cowboys work hard) come out to my housing association property to replace the bath. They measured up in December but didn't come out until March due to them forgetting to process the order for the new bath plus I needed to rearrange them once. They arrived and have caused chaos and carnage and a lot of stress. I have a leak from the pipe to the bath tap that's come through my wall into my hallway and damaged the skirting and the carpet, the leak has also come through the wooden floor under the bath into my kitchen ceiling. They used my towel to mop up some gunk without my permission and just left it on the side of the new bath. The toilet they took out to get the old bath out now clicks constantly even though they said they'd sorted it. They nearly took out a whole wall by trying to ram the bath in where it clearly didn't fit properly so now I have a hole that's only partially filled with poly filler and they siliconed round that area and the silicone has dropped a bit into the gap. I have a crack up the wall they broke from the floor to the ceiling. The new bath didn't come with a side panel so they've jammed my old one in place and it doesn't fit properly so it's bent. They've left loads of broken tiles and screws under the bath and put the panel there so I wouldn't see the mess. I'd avoid these bodge it cowboys like the plague!!! I am a disabled woman with a disabled child that's now left with multiple damages to my home and no way of bathing until they come back and bodge their shoddy work. Thoroughly disgusted with this company!

I hope your Building skills are better than your driving. I got pushed out of my lane in Falmouth the other night by one of your maniac drivers. They then proceeded to do the same further on down the road. I wouldn't employ anybody who drives like this. They were an absolute joke.

this company are absolutely shocking been waiting years to have work done to my kitchen. Finally got it done and it’s actually worse than it was before they did the job 😂 now currently waiting for the council to get a job raised to fix their absolute mess i am left with. The workmen have absolutely no clue what they are doing either. Clearly not trained for the jobs they get sent to do!!!!!

We were directed to this company automatically by our managing agent when a pipe outside our flat sprung a leak which was coming into the flat. The woman on the phone said she'd send someone in the area and would not charge to have a quick look at it. The person went to the wrong property and, when he did find it, just looked and did nothing. We had to get a proper plumber out. We've just received a bill for this for £195 plus VAT. This is shameful and exploitative. Please avoid this company.

Appalling workmanship. No cleaning of surfaces prior to coatings. Efflorescence was left untreated. Filling left unsanded, just painted over. No prep work on handrails. Cracks in ceilings not filled. Silicon on the floor and walls from replacing emergency signage. Photographs and a complaint have been logged with the Ombudsman. Never use this company.
